Dr. Theekshana Dissanayake, MBBS, FRACGP graduated from The University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2000 and migrated to Australia in 2006. He has been working as a GP for the last 13 years and attained a fellowship in General Practice in 2010.

Dr. Theekshana has special interests in chronic disease management, preventative care, skin cancer and aged care while excelling in minor procedures. Working in the rural town of Traralgon has allowed him to manage complex patients with confidence due to lack of specialist support.

He has a vested interest in the continuity of care thus takes a holistic approach in patient management. As a result, his duty of care extends to, by visiting patients when they need my help the most so that they always feel supported.
