The underlying rationale recognises that students are better able to learn when they can control the flow of their experience, or when their learning is self-directed. A self-directed model of delivery allows access to a broader range of students regardless of geographic location and allows people to complete the program at a pace that suits their current lifestyle and workplace balance.
