Archdiocese of Brisbane Catholic Education Council
The Catholic Education Council is responsible for providing advice to the Archbishop in the exercise of his leadership, teaching and governance responsibilities in the area of Catholic schools.
The role of the Catholic Education Council is to discern, tender advice and recommend broad educational policies and strategic priorities to the Archbishop, and monitor policy implementation. In undertaking this role, the Council strives to be pastoral in outlook, developmental in approach, and seeks to initiate, encourage, support, promote and coordinate Archdiocesan educational activities.
