Doctors provide the Medicare Online Claiming facility through the practice management system.  You can then seamlessly claim your Medicare rebate for the medical service provided by a doctor.

If you have a private health insurance (this applies to temporary residents) doctors will charge the full fee which patients pay on the day of consultation. Claim with private insurance is lodged after the consultation through a health insurance portal, usin a tax invoice provided.
