Profile Summary
Therapy Connect's story starts with two separate brands, from different parts of Australia, with a shared ambition to vastly improve access to high-quality therapy for people all over the country.
Therapy Connect was formed in 2015 by two rural allied health practitioners, Sue Cameron, a speech pathologist from Western Victoria and Simone Dudley, an occupational therapist from South West NSW. They shared a passion for improving access to therapy supports for people in rural and remote areas through online therapy. They worked with the University of Sydney and the University of Queensland to conduct research and co-authored guidelines for quality allied health telehealth.
Kinela, founded by Sydney based Physiotherapist, Karn Ghosh in 2014, started with local allied health services and healthy ready made meals for people with disability. The business quickly evolved and grew to become the largest NDIS meal delivery provider in the country and provider of online allied health services, changing the lives of thousands of Australians living with disabilities.
We have recently come together under the Therapy Connect brand and as a combined business, we can reach more clients and make a bigger impact than ever before. Together we are on a mission to make high-quality healthcare more accessible, no matter where you live. Because better health belongs to everyone.
