Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) is a Federally-funded not-for-profit programme offering health professionals opportunities to undertake short-term paid placements (3 weeks - 12 weeks) in remote Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. To be considered you will need to meet the minimum credentialing criteria for one of the following craft groups (including already having the right to work in Australia): General Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Dentist, Dental Therapist, Dental Assistant and Audiologist.
You will be supported throughout your journey - free eLearning modules, cultural and clinical orientation to prepare you for your placement, travel and accommodation is arranged by RAHC and our teams in Canberra, Darwin and Alice Springs are on hand to assist you as required. In short, you just need to do what you do best and focus on delivering high-quality health care to our Indigenous population in the Territory.
