Through research, teaching and engagement activities, JCU's Division of Tropical Health and Medicine (formerly the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences) is at the forefront of improving health in rural, remote, Indigenous and tropical communities within Australia and world-wide.
Why us
Since its establishment in 1997, the Division has grown substantially and now offers a large selection of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine, public health and tropical medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, allied health and rehabilitation sciences, biomedical and molecular sciences, veterinary sciences and sport and exercise science, with a particular focus on the health of rural, remote and Indigenous communities and tropical medicine. These disciplines are structured within three Colleges and a research centre:
