The culture and structure of the NHS is changing and it is becoming increasingly important for NHS staff to work together to achieve common goals around patient care [1]. It is important to understand the roles and responsibilities of other members of the healthcare team and their differing priorities.

This session is about exploring the concept of working within teams, understanding what constitutes a team and exploring how to overcome challenges encountered with team based decision making.
