Event Description

 

WA's The Morning Network is now OPEN for registration for ACHSM Members and non-members, but places are limited. These exclusive networking events will see ACHSM members and guests able to interact on an intimate level with leaders from across the sector, asking them probing questions and the potential to advance their careers through networking. 

This is an opportunity to hear Valerie Jovanovic, Chief Executive, Child & Adolescent Health Service, speak about their career journey in health management and what motivates them to lead, followed by a facilitated Q&A where you can draw on Valerie's experiences and expertise.

This event is capped at 18 participants.

Valerie Jovanovic,
Chief Executive, Child & Adolescent Health Service

Valerie is the Chief Executive, Child and Adolescent Health Service. Valerie was appointed as the inaugural Executive Director People, Culture and Capability at CAHS in February 2020 and has an extensive understanding of the organisation, its people and strategic priorities. Valerie has worked in public health for over 30 years, including as a Registered Nurse, with clinical experience in perioperative nursing, and has held various leadership, executive and senior executive roles including in medical administration and corporate within NSW health services.

Valerie has extensive experience in leading large, complex organisations within the public health system and is well focused on patient-focused care and a commitment to ensuring that CAHS continues to deliver safe and high-quality health services for Western Australia’s children and their families. 

The key priorities for Valerie at this time are to actively build on the comprehensive services that CAHS delivers, supporting, enabling and developing the workforce and continuing to drive the cultural transformation that will enable the delivery of CAHS’ strategic priorities.
