Applications are now open for the September 2024 intake of APNA's Transition to Practice Program.

If you're a recent graduate or working outside of the hospital setting for the first time, this program is for you!

We especially want to support nurses new to working in primary health care in rural and remote communities, such as Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Organisations.

Our program provides tailored education and resources, including clinical and professional mentoring, to support your exciting adventure in primary health care, wherever it takes you in Australia!

Best of all, it's free!

We're also looking for RNs and Nurse Practitioners with experience working in primary health care to become mentors on the program,

If you are enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and skills with other nurses, you are well-suited for the mentor role, and we’d love to see your application!

No prior experience is required, and no direct supervisory arrangements are necessary as mentoring may be conducted remotely. You will get paid ($2,700) for your time, will be well-supported by our team, and will be provided with relevant CPD and resources.

Applications close Friday 6 September 2024.
