Use of Aligner Technology course for Dental Practice

By the end of this session you will be able to:

- List the indications and contraindications for its use
- Recall the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of the appliance
- Recall the different aligner systems currently on the market
Aligners are thin, clear, plastic ‘mouth guards’ which fit closely over the teeth. A series of these appliances are used to obtain incremental changes to straighten the teeth, according to a treatment plan developed by the orthodontist or dentist.
