This session will support you in your team to deliver and improve services.
Learning Objectives
This session will support you to:
- Have a clear sense of your role, responsibilities and purpose within the team
- Adopt a team approach, acknowledging and appreciating efforts, contributions and compromises
- Recognise the common purpose of the team and respect team decisions
- Lead a team, involving the right people at the right time

Aamer is the Principal Pharmacist Lead for Education and Development at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust with responsibilities for managing the pre-registration trainee pharmacist programme. He is a Visiting Lecturer at Kings College London for undergraduates and an Honorary Postgraduate Clinical Lecturer at the University College London School of Pharmacy.
Aamer holds an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, PGCE (PCET), and an MA in Management. Aamer is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an NHS Clinical Leadership Fellow.
