The Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) is thrilled to present a series of webinars dedicated to Infection Prevention and Control throughout the month of July 2024. With recent updates to the Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Healthcare Standards, it’s crucial to adapt and align your practices to the new standard. Our webinars will equip you with the knowledge and tools to do just that.

Our speaker, Megan Reilly (RN BN MHlthSc (Inf Control) TAE40116 Cert IV Training & Assessment Immunise Cert ACSQHC Hand Hygiene Auditor MACN), brings over three decades of infection prevention and control experience across diverse healthcare contexts. Since 1998, her company Hands-On Infection Control has provided consultancy, education, and immunisation services to health and human service organisations throughout Australia, with a focus on out-of-hospital settings and special projects. Megan’s contributions extend globally—she’s presented at international conferences, authored peer-reviewed articles, and actively engaged with professional associations.

Megan has 35 years experience in infection prevention and control across various healthcare settings. Since 1998, her company Hands-On Infection Control has provided consultancy, education, and immunisation services to health and human service organisations throughout Australia, with a focus on out-of-hospital settings and special projects.
Megan has presented at local and international conferences, has articles published in peer-reviewed journals, and actively contributed to professional associations.
TARGET AUDIENCE:Clinical and non-clinical staff including GPs, Practice Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, administration, reception and management teams working in the Northern sydney Primary Health Network region.
