The Role of the Consultation course for GPs

This session is introduced by Roger Neighbour and contains video of the following well-known GP opinion leaders and writers
Roger Neighbour OBE DSc MA FRCGP FRCP FRACGP was a GP, trainer and VTS course organiser in Hertfordshire from 1974 to 2003. He was an MRCGP examiner for 20 years and Convenor of the Panel of Examiners 1997-2002. In 2003 Roger was elected President of the Royal College of General Practitioners for a three-year term.
He is the author of The Inner Consultation, The Inner Apprentice and I’m Too Hot Now, and of numerous papers on medical education and consulting skills. Now retired from clinical practice, Roger continues to teach about the consultation throughout the UK and worldwide.
In 2011 he was made an OBE for services to medical education.
