The Principles of Change Management course for Dental Practice
This session defines the principles that inform change management and describes the process of change.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Discuss the types of change management
- Discuss the characteristics of the different change processes
- Identify the drivers for change
- Identify the barriers to change
It may sound like an oxymoron, but 'change is a constant'. It will occur haphazardly unless there is a structured approach to managing the changes.

In addition to his work as a GDP, Kieran continues as DPA in Lanarkshire and also works as a clinical assessor and clinical case reviewer for the National Clinical Assessment Service.
His interests are in Continuing Professional Development for dentists and their teams and Quality Assurance, particularly with regard to care provided in General Dental Services.
