By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Identify the major professional, legal and ethical issues concerning adolescents
- State the legal ages at which young people can participate in various activities
- Explain why legal ages at which young people can participate in various activities exist
In regard to adolescence there are a number of professional, legal and ethical issues.
Dr Macfarlane is an international freelance specialist in the strategic planning and delivery of maternal, child and adolescent health services, prison services and paediatric hospital services. He is the author of 20 books (including 8 specifically for young people), 18 chapters and 38 refereed papers.
