- Describe the aims and purpose of the Clinical Supervisor’s Report (CSR) in Workplace-based Assessment
- Complete the CSR to provide an evidence-based assessment and meaningful  feedback
- Proceed when a trainee appears to be in difficulty
The Clinical Supervisor’s Report (CSR) is the Clinical Supervisor's assessment of the GP trainee's performance in post. CSRs are completed by all Clinical Supervisors in both primary and secondary care.
John Hain is a GP trainer in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. He is an examiner at the RCGP and has been invloved with the development of WPBA.
Pauline Foreman is a GP in Hertfordshire and a programme director in the East of England Deanery.
She is a member of the workplace based assessment standards group and has produced e-portfolio based training materials for educational supervisors.
