This session will provide you with an overview of clinical the presentation, investigation and management of thyroid lumps/Goitres.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Identify the anatomy and function of the thyroid gland
- Describe the term goitre and discuss epidemiology
- Establish the classification, clinical assessment and management of goitres
- Identify the different types of Thyroid cancer and their management
- Establish the aetiology and management of patients with Thyroid emergencies
