This session provides an overview of HIV/hepatitis (B and C) co-infection. It builds on your knowledge of viral hepatitis natural history, presentation, investigation and management.

- Describe the natural history of HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV
- List treatments used for treating HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV
- Explain the treatment strategies for HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV
- Summarise prevention strategies for HBV and HCV
