• List treatments used for treating HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV
• Explain the treatment strategies for HIV/HBV and HIV/HCV

his session covers aspects of HIV/viral hepatitis (B and C) co-infection. Many patients with HIV infection are also infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV) or hepatitis C virus (HCV) and it is important for the clinician to recognise co-infection and to understand the implications for the individual patient.
