Specialist Trainee Registrar in Paediatrics in the West Midlands Deanery

Dr Paraskevi (or Voula as she prefers to be called) Mikrou graduated from Athens Medical School in the National Kapodistrian University in Greece in 2008.

She has been working as a Specialist Trainee Registrar in Paediatrics in the West Midlands deanery since 2010 and obtained her Membership with the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2012.

Dr Mikrou has an interest in Paediatric Cardiology and is currently undertaking an RCPCH Cardiology SPIN module. She aspires to be a Paediatrician with Expertise in Cardiology (PEC).

Dr Mikrou is the trainee representative for Guidelines and Procedures in the PECSIG community (Paediatricians with Expertise in Cardiology Specialist Interest Group) and has shown an interest in governance and research activities.
