  • describe the concept of the restorative staircase
  • list strategies to balance the risks and benefits for a patient
  • classify gathered data using a problem list approach
  • structure a phased treatment plan

The subject of treatment planning is a vast one, which is common to all clinical disciplines within dentistry.

  • Special tests and baseline tecords
  • Translating information into a diagnosis

Andrew graduated from Manchester in 1979 and is a general dental practitioner. He has held a number of teaching posts at the University of Manchester and the Faculty of General Dental Practice. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
