Who should attend: Residential aged care managers, admissions and finance / accounts team.
In this training session, our presenters will discuss:

The training will cover:

- Dealing with third party RAD requests. Should you agree to refund the RAD to a third party and what safeguards can you put in place if you do?
- Pitfalls in paying a RAD without a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.
- What is involved in recovering a debt when there are complexities surrounding the administration of the resident’s estate.
- Dealing with next of kin and substitution decision makers to recover payment of a debt when the resident does not have capacity.
The session will be presented by Anita Courtney and Ilana Kacev who both regularly assist aged care providers.
