Exam Preparation | Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetics
Session Overview
Description
This session contains a series of short revision tutorials and multiple choice questions to help who are candidates preparing for the Primary FRCA Examination.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Describe the exponential function
- Describe examples and recognize Euler’s number, e
- Give examples of exponential processes
- Define the three constants that determine the shape of the exponential function
- Describe how the three constants relate one to another in pharmacokinetics
- Describe the concepts of volume of distribution and clearance
This session provides a series of tutorials and multiple-choice questions (MCQ) which have been written to Primary FRCA standards.
This session is aimed at assisting candidates to prepare for the Primary FRCA examinations and provides content on topics candidates often find difficult to grasp.
This session does not cover all topics tested in the Primary FRCA examination. For comprehensive examination preparation please refer to the curriculum of e-learning sessions within Module 07.
This session contains three revision tutorials on topics related to pharmacokinetics.
Each tutorial within this session begins with pre-tutorial MCQs to test your existing knowledge. The MCQs are followed by a revision tutorial during that covers the knowledge required to answer these and other similar MCQs.
Each tutorial ends with post-tutorial MCQs to re-test your understanding of the topic. This format is repeated for each of the areas covered within this session.
