This session covers resilience and the factors which affect it. It also provides the information you need to further boost your resilience and act upon any problems you may currently have.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Define resilience and the factors which affect it
  • Outline approaches on how to enhance resilience
  • Explain how to diagnose and manage stress and burnout

Even though palliative care work can be demanding, workers tend to report that their work is more satisfying. There also tends to be less burnout than in other health areas.
