Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Level 1
This e-learning session meets the statutory and mandatory training requirements and learning outcomes for Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Level 1 in the UK Core Skills Training Framework (UK CSTF).

It is essential that you keep up-to-date with guidance to help you in your day-to-day job and it is important to complete the full session. However, If you feel you have the necessary knowledge, you can skip straight to the eAssessment without completing the knowledge chapters first.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain what we mean by equality, diversity and human rights and why they are important
  • Explain how policies and the law can help us create a more inclusive workplace
  • Explain what we mean by ‘health inequalities’ and how they can be reduced
  • Explain why we need to know about people’s different backgrounds and why it is important not to make assumptions about individuals
  • Describe what you can do to challenge prejudice and discrimination
