By the end of this session you should be able to:
- describe your employment rights and responsibilities, and the standards and codes of conduct that relate to your role
- explain why it is important to work in ways that are agreed with your employer and how and when to escalate any concerns you might have (whistleblowing)
- explain why it is important to be honest and identify where errors may have occurred and to tell the appropriate person
- describe your responsibilities to the individuals you support
- describe why it is important to work in teams and in partnership with others, such as advocates and key people
