Care Certificate | Reablement Scenario
Care Certificate: reablement scenario
This scenario is an opportunity for you to apply the principles outlined in the Care Certificate Standards in a reablement setting.
It will present a series of questions which you should answer based on the Care Certificate knowledge-based sessions.
The scenario takes place in a community setting which may use different policies and procedures to your workplace.
Please check that you are following the correct policies and procedures for your own place of work, and discuss any differences within the scenario with your mentor.
In this scenario you will follow Lucy, a reablement support worker, who will be spending the day carrying out home care visits.
Lucy recently started with this service and is working through the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate.
She is just about to undertake her first independent shift.
