It will present a series of questions which you should answer based on the Care Certificate knowledge-based sessions.
The scenario depicts a work setting that may use different policies and procedures to your workplace.
Please check that you are following the correct policies and procedures for your own place of work and discuss any differences within the scenario with your mentor.
In this scenario you will follow Anna, a support worker at the Southwick Park secure mental health unit.
Anna has recently started at the unit and is working through the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate.
She is just arriving for her shift and will shortly go into the handover; first she needs to make sure that she’s ready to join the team.
