About the session
This session will help you to understand how living with frailty affects a person's mobility, the importance of movement and exercise and the support that can be accessed.

At the end of this session you will be able to:

  • identify how living with frailty affects a person's life in relation to their mobility 
  • complete a simple assessment of a person’s mobility as part of your wider comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA)
  • identify the importance of movement and exercise on a person’s frailty
  • support a person to optimise their mobility and know how to access specific support regarding strength, balance and falls prevention
  • know when to refer on
