Canal Obturation course for Dental Practice
This session covers the rationale for root canal obturation and describes some of the common materials and methods used.

By the end of this session you will be able to:

- Describe the common materials used for obturating
- Describe some of the various methods used to obturate
This session covers the overall position of canal obturation in root canal treatment, and the reasons why we fill the root canal system.
Before commencing this session you should have knowledge of:
- The basic principles of root canal treatment
Sanjay qualified from Manchester in 1991 and worked in General Dental Practice and part-time at the Dental Hospital, until completing an MSc in Endodontics at the University. He relocated to London to undertake full-time Specialist Training at the Eastman Dental Institute. Sanjay now works as a Specialist Endodontist in Private Practice and as a part-time Honorary Clinical Teacher in Endodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital.
