Finally, you will discover how the flexible application of audit can give you a powerful tool for improving patient care or practice performance.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Describe the audit process
  • Describe how to conduct an audit
  • Explain how the audit process may be used to improve patient care

The session will mainly concentrate on the use of 'audit for change'. If you wish to aim for high standards of patient care, audit will not only help you achieve them but also give you data to prove it.

And do not forget the satisfaction of knowing you have done a great job. Audit can be the key to improving practice and a greater sense of professional well-being.
