Description
This session aims to instil an understanding of the toxicity of local anaesthetics, diagnosis and management.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this session you should be able to:

  • Specify safe doses of local anaesthetic agents
  • Treat local anaesthetic toxicity
  • Describe the studies that have demonstrated an incidence of major complications of regional anaesthesia
