  • Recognize the differences between the landmarks in men and women
  • Identify the anatomical landmarks necessary to perform a tracheostomy
  • Differentiate between the two techniques from an anatomical perspective

Prerequisites
Before commencing this session you should:

  • Knowledge of the indications for cricothyroidotomy
  • Knowledge of the indications for tracheostomy and the differences between the percutaneous and surgical techniques
