AMA(SA) President's Rural Visit 2024 - Limestone Coast

The AMA SA are pleased to invite you to join Rural GP and AMA SA President Dr John Williams as he visits regional South Australia for the purpose of personally engaging with his colleagues, to share insights and challenges in regional healthcare today.

AMA(SA) President, Dr John Williams, has hit the road on his rural tour and he wants you to join him.

He's crisscrossing the state over the coming months to personally engage with doctors on the coalface of regional healthcare and hear from them the challenges and opportunities facing them.

Our next stop is the Limestone Coast on Thursday 29 August.

Dr Williams is the AMA(SA)’s first president based in a rural area and is dedicated to improving outcomes in regional health. 

‘I want to personally engage with doctors on the ground, to understand their concerns and what they see as the way forward,' he says.   

‘There are so many issues they’re dealing with, including CPD training, payroll tax, cyber security, the list goes on, and it’s really important I support them as they work their way through these minefields
