Learning Objectives

  • Manage mitral stenosis

Although becoming less common, mitral stenosis (MS) is an important cardiac cause of breathlessness. Patients can present either with chronic breathlessness, or acutely with severe symptoms.

This session will discuss the investigation of MS. The results of investigations will be shown and the subsequent management of this condition will be discussed.
