The Emeritus Professor Lloyd Sansom AO Distinguished Lecture Series serves as a premiere platform for renown and respected leaders in pharmacy to share their deep expertise, insights, and experiences with members and stakeholders.

The annual Sansom Lecture is named after Emeritus Professor Lloyd Sansom AO, whose profound impact on pharmacy education in Australia spans over four decades.

Professor Tina Brock, Director of the Collaborative Practice Centre in the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences will be the speaker at this year's event.

Professor Tina Brock,
pharmacist and the Director of the Collaborative Practice Centre in the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences.

She is an educational activist with a fervent commitment to harnessing the transformative power of collaboration to advance health globally.

Tina has been part of the educational leadership teams at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University College London, University of California San Francisco, Monash University, and the University of Colorado. She has also worked across all six World Health Organization (WHO) regions via the nongovernmental organisation, Management Sciences for Health. Tina currently serves on the WHO Academy Advisory Group of Lifelong Learning in Health.

As a passionate advocate for teamwork, belonging, equity, climate care, and open access education, Tina embodies a commitment to systems improvement in health professions education. She also makes time for her passion projects - RxforClimate.org, a grassroots organisation dedicated to climate-smart pharmacy practice, and @PharmacyFika, a monthly podcast for pharmacy educators.

Tina has seen Elvis live and is especially fond of good tomatoes.
