Listening Skills course
The session introduces the learner to some of the overarching policy and legislative guidance that underpins the importance of listening to children, through to a summary of listening skills. We will consider barriers to effective listening, include issues of diversity and disability, and take age into account when thinking about listening to children and young people.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Name key legislation and policy that relates to listening to children
- Give reasons why it's important to listen to children
