Description
This session provides an overview of the functional anatomy and physiology of the coronary circulation during the cardiac cycle. It describes the different phases and regulatory mechanisms of coronary blood flow.

By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Describe the functional anatomy of coronary vessels
- Describe the relationship between metabolic activity and coronary blood flow
- Describe the phases of coronary blood flow
- Explain the difference between the right and left ventricle
- Describe the concepts of local and neuro-humeral regulation of coronary blood flow
