AHA Introduction to the Nursing Care and Management of Patients with Advanced Liver Disease - ONLINE COURSE

• list the main causes of advanced liver disease

• assess for the signs and symptoms of advanced liver disease

• identify the complications of advanced liver disease and briefly describe their management

• describe the components of a care plan for patients with advanced liver disease

• outline referral pathways for patients with advanced liver disease

• outline how you can provide nursing support for patients with advanced liver disease in your practice

Each of these online learning sessions will be delivered live via Zoom. 

Connection details will be provided via email prior to the commencement of the course. Please ensure you log in using the name you used for registration.

Testing your audio and camera: You can join a test Zoom meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom, in addition to testing your video or audio.  

Mandatory viewing of a webinar (49 minutes duration) prior to attendance at the course will be emailed to registrants approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the commencement of the course.  Additional learning modules (2 x 30 minutes duration) will also be stated, but completion of these is at the registrants discretion.   

Registrants are expected to attend ALL sessions to secure a Certificate of Completion.
