HealthcareLink team made it a little sunnier, by heading north, to GPCE Brisbane. We are the Silver Sponsor of the GPCE conferences previously, and it has been wonderful, meeting GPs, practice nurses, registrars and practice managers, who travelled across the state and interstate to be there.
It was a unique opportunity to meet doctors and practice managers from Mackay, Townsville and other rural and regional centres of the Sunshine State and discuss some of the more inherent obstacles you face. The team is excited to help find you the right doctors and nurses for your practice.
Being GPCE, the CPD (continuing professional development) program was the highlight of the three-day event. The conference program covered the breadth and depth of primary care with Active Learning Modules, education sessions and practical workshops.The Education sessions covered 13 therapeutic areas, including business practice management, chronic disease, women's health and mental health.
Saturday evening gave way for relaxed chatter amongst delegates and exhibitors alike while drinks and light nibbles came past, prior to the "MEDTalksâ€, which were TED-style, conversational talks with a focus on medical issues.
