Healthcare and community service professionals across Australia now have the chance to achieve national recognition, with nominations open for the 2025 HESTA Excellence Awards.

Offering a generous $60,000 prize pool, these awards celebrate innovation, leadership, and dedication in aged care, allied health, community services, and disability services. The initiative not only honours outstanding individual achievements but also showcases the teamwork and collaboration that drive progress in these essential sectors.

Recognizing Excellence in Healthcare and Community Services

The HESTA Excellence Awards provide a platform to celebrate the invaluable contributions of professionals in aged care, allied health, community services, and disability services. These awards highlight the dedication and ingenuity of those who consistently strive to make a positive impact on communities across Australia.

Each year, the awards acknowledge outstanding leadership and teamwork in these vital sectors. In 2025, eight winners will be selected, with each receiving $7,500. This prize, supported by ME (a subsidiary of Bank of Queensland), can be used to foster personal growth, invest in professional development, or enhance workplace initiatives that further improve services.

These awards are not just about recognition—they are a testament to the transformative power of commitment and collaboration within the healthcare and community service industries.

Employers, colleagues, and individuals are encouraged to nominate or self-nominate before midnight (AEST) on 8 April 2025. Finalists will be announced on 8 July, and winners will be revealed during a ceremony in Melbourne on 7 August 2025.
